Men's Lacrosse Picks Up Program's First Win

GCC men's lacrosse won it's first game ever since the start of the lacrosse program in 2006.  The team traveled to SUNY Fredonia and picked up the 7-6 victory.

The team was led by Tyler Stiles (Hilton, NY) with two goals and three assists, Justin Nanticoke (Akron, NY) with three goals, Dan Page (Medina, NY) with one goal and two assists, and Steve Dollinger (Medina, NY) with one goal and one assist.  Cory Blackburn (Hilton, NY) led the team in grounball pick-ups with six, while Dusty Parker (Akron, NY) and Dave Pytlik (Lockport, NY) controlled faceoffs with 60% success.  Goalie Coty Brawdy (Angola, NY) was strong in net with 12 saves while Ross Johnson (Hilton, NY) and Rob Cocilova (Hilton, NY) helped lead a stingy defense.

The men head to Cayuga CC on Thursday March 20, 2008 for a 4:00pm contest.
