GCC Career Services Announces Career Exploration

College Forum to Host October 1st Event

Genesee Community College Career Services is pleased to announce that it is hosting a Career Exploration Event on Thursday, October 1st, 2015 from 12 – 2 p.m. in the College’s centrally-located Forum. Career Counselors at GCC provide assistance not only to GCC students and graduates, but to the community as well. Best of all, these services are always FREE.

The event will offer the opportunity to explore the many career opportunities that begin with a degree from GCC. Program Directors and Faculty members will be present to discuss degree programs and potential careers. Find your dream job through a brief career assessment with Career Services, discuss how to boost your resume through campus involvement, have fun with our LinkedIn Photo Booth and more! The event is free to all attendees.

Please log into (or create your free) Purple Briefcase account to view details and register for this event: www.genesee.edu/career. Purple Briefcase is a new career network that offers numerous ways for Career Services to connect potential employers with GCC students and alumni.

Those interested in taking advantage of the FREE services offered at the GCC Career Center can call the Center to make an appointment: (585) 345-6888 or email career@genesee.edu.
