Men's Lacrosse ends road trip at Monroe on Wednesday

Wednesday will mark the end to a three-game road trip for the no. 6 Genesee Community College men’s lacrosse team when the Cougars visit no. 8 Monroe Community College for a 4 p.m. start.
GCC split its first two games of the road stretch against Howard Community College (W, 6-5) and no. 2 Community College of Baltimore County-Essex (L, 8-7).
Last time out:
Genesee suffered its second one-goal loss of the season on Saturday at CCBC-Essex. The Cougars had a 7-5 lead early in the 4th quarter but surrendered three goals in less than a minute to fall to the Knights, 8-7.
Craig Seneca made 24 saves in net for the Cougars. Pete DiLaura had 11 ground balls and 11 takeaways and Jimmy Smith scored two goals.
Monroe lost to top-ranked Onondaga Community College on Saturday, 18-4. Tirbunes goalkeeper Shane Trost faced 42 shots and made 24 saves. Ethan Printy scored two of MCC’s four goals.
What to watch for:
Genesee is 3-3 in its last six meetings against Monroe dating back to 2010.
Cougars’ goalkeeper Cam Seneca holds the third highest save percentage in all of the NJCAA at 75 percent.
