After a last-second win against Niagara County Community College on Thurdsday night, the Genesee Community College men's basketball team kept things rolling on Saturday, defeating Jamestown Community Colllege, 90-66.
Jamestown jumped out to a first half lead, holding a 25-19 advantage with eight minutes remaining.
Genesee soon took control behind 18 first half points from Ervin Mitchell, and the Cougars ended the half on a 23-9 run, taking a 42-34 lead into the break.
It was all GCC in the second half, which held as much as a 37 point lead at one point.
Mitchell finished with a game-high 33 points, he also collected seven rebounds. Naquil Jones added 20 points, Jason Perry-Murray finished with 10 points and nine rebounds, Redell Freeman dished out 11 asssits and Sasho Sohei chipped in five points.
Genesee (17-6, 3-3) will return to action tomorrow at 2 p.m. at home against Herkimer County Community College.
