The Genesee Community College women's basketball team is still in search of its first win of the 2013-14 season, after falling to Onondaga Community College on Thursday night, 95-51.
OCC led the entire way and turnovers were a problem for the Lady Cougars. 35 total turnovers on the night resulted in 38 points for the Lady Lazers.
Renetta Fordam led GCC in scoring with 18 points, all of which came from three-point range. Shanell Glover grabbed 13 rebounds, Breana Gleaton scored nine points and had eight rebounds and Hillary Rivera chipped in seven points.
Genesee was plus-three in the rebounding department but struggled from the field, shooting just better than 23%. OCC had four scorers in double-figures.
GCC falls to 0-4 and will return to action on Tuesday night when it hosts Lakeland Community College for a 5:30 p.m. start.
