Men's Lacrosse Cruises in Regular Season Finale

The No.2 Genesee Community College men's lacrosse team ended their regular season with a 17-3 win over visiting Finger Lakes Community College on Saturday night.

Brady Lawrence made 11 saves in three quarters of work in net and allowed just one goal. Mark Pucek finished the game in goal and made five saves and allowed two goals.

Mike Breindel went 9 of 15 on face-offs and Mike Tolli went 6 of 9.

Jonathan Gill scored five goals, Christian Reiller added two goals and three assists, Saxon Weil scored three times and also had an assist, Chris Rabung scored twice and added an assist, Luke Grahnert assisted on two goals and Marcus Palvino and Nick Gray each had a goal and an assist.

Jordan McElligott, Pete DiLaura and Adam Jacobs each had four takeaways on defense.

Genesee is now 13-1 overall and will host an opening round Region 3 playoff game on Tuesday night. Opponent and game time to be determined.
