Men's Soccer continues hot-streak

The number-two ranked Genesee Community College men’s soccer program earned their tenth victory of the season on Saturday afternoon as they defeated the visiting Saints from North Country Community College by the final score of 7-0. 

The Cougars got on the board in the 12th minute as Dominic Francis scored the game’s first goal with the assist to Declan Brennan. The Cougars upped their lead to two after Lamin Tarawally scored with Sam Cassidy getting the assist to make it 2-0. 

Genesee added five more goals in the second half as Reo Yoshitome, Theo Stamotopolous, Jamie Tyrell, Aaron Dunks and David Moore all scored for Genesee. 

Jake O’Leary and Sean Allen split time in net to earn the shutout. 

The Cougars return to action on Sunday September 30th at 3:00pm against Tompkins-Cortland Community College.
