Men's Lacrosse cruises at Tompkins-Cortland

The Genesee Community College men's lacrosse team earned another road victory this season, traveling to Tompkins Cortland Community College on Saturday afternoon and beating up the Panthers, 23-1.

It was another full team effort with 14 different players recording a point. Gaehnew Printup (Tuscarora, NY) led the attack with three goals and four assists, Connor Latimer (Whitby, ON) added three goals and two assists and Jon Gill (Cattaraugus Territory) scored four goals.

At midfield, Spencer Halliwell-Allen (St. Catherines, ON) scored twice and had three assists, Marcus Palvino (Spencerport, NY) added three goals, Saxon Weil (Williamsville, NY) and Steve Riamondi (Amherst, NY) each scored twice, Keaton Taylor-Lazore (Salamanca, NY) added a goal and two assists and Chip Chapman (Batavia, NY) scored a goal and assisted on a goal.

Aaron Hayward (Hilton, NY) led the defense with six ground balls, three takeaways and a goal. Vin Pedro (Batavia, NY) had three ground balls and two takeaways.

Mike Breindel (Hamburg, NY) was 9 of 16 on faceoffs and also had four ground balls.

In net, Pat McMahon (Amherst, NY), Brady Lawrence (St. Catherines, ON) and Zack Wilson (Lewis Center, OH) combined for six saves.

Genesee (12-2) will play at home on Wednesday when they host Mercyhurst North East at 7pm.
