The Genesee Community College men's lacrosse team moved to 3-1 on Saturday afternoon, defeating Jefferson Community College 27-6 on the road.
Gaehnew Printup (Tuscarora, NY) led all scorers with eight goals and five assists. Connor Latimer (Whitby, ON) had three goals and set a school record for assists in a single game with seven. Jon Gill (Cattaraugus Territory) rounded out the attack with three goals and two assists. At midfield, Spencer Halliwell-Allen (St. Catherines, ON) recorded four goals and two assists. Saxon Weil (Williamsville, NY) and Joe Pedro (Batavia, NY) each scored two goals and had an assist and Kyle Maniace (Batavia, NY) netted a goal and chipped in three assists.
Brady Lawrence (St. Catherines, ON) started in goal and made eight saves while allowing three goals. Zack Wilson (Lewis Center, OH) played the second half and made five saves, allowing three goals.
Rashad Brown (Lockport, NY) was 13 of 16 on face-offs and led team with nine grounballs. Mike Breindel (Hamburg, NY) went 10 of 14 on face-offs.
Dylan Hickey (Hilton, NY) led the defense with four takeaways and Jordan McElligot (Spencerport, NY) had two takeaways and five ground balls.
Genesee will play again on Wednesday afternoon when they travel to Monroe Community College for a 4pm start.
