Batavia, New York — Knowing the challenges of the ever-competitive job market, Genesee Community College’s Career Services Center is hosting a new series of informative workshops this semester with a special twist. From the nearly two dozen events and workshops lined up this spring, Career Center staff are delighted to welcome representatives from five different companies who will offer their unique, inside perspective to the career search and skill development process. Representatives of American Financial, Oxbo Corporation, Verizon Wireless, YNN, and GCC’s Social Media department will share their viewpoint on the best practices for getting and keeping a job in the 21st century.
