The Q&A will include a discussion of her piece “Convivium,” which is currently on display at the Roz Steiner Art Gallery which features a 40 foot-long glass table set with more than 1,400 porcelain half-goblet forms arranged in a precise pattern. This type of gathering is a venue for exchange, a place to spark new relationships, and a site to cultivate what presently exists. It is about the constructive potentials of the collective.

She explores the limitless potentials of clay through slip casting, throwing, hand building, and tile work. She received her undergraduate degree in ceramics from SUNY, New Paltz, and did an apprenticeship under Donna Polseno and Richard Hensley of 16 Hands Pottery in Floyd, Virginia.
After receiving her Master in Fine Arts degree from The New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University, she was invited to stay as a visiting instructor. She now balances full-time teaching engagement with her artistic pursuits at her studio, Spring Valley Clay Works in Spring Valley, New York.
