GCC Adjunct Instructor to Direct American Christmas Musical Celebration

Dansville, New York— Thomas Folan, adjunct instructor at the Dansville Campus Center of Genesee Community College and accomplished conductor, will direct an American Christmas Musical Celebration at Saint Peter’s Episcopal Church in Dansville, NY.

Dansville, New York— Thomas Folan, adjunct instructor at the Dansville Campus Center of Genesee Community College and accomplished conductor, will direct an American Christmas Musical Celebration at Saint Peter’s Episcopal Church in Dansville, NY. The musical celebration will take place on Sunday, December 4 at 2:00 p.m. and is sponsored by the Dansville Historical Society. This event is free and open to the public, however donations will be accepted.

The musical celebration will feature music from American Colonial, Shaker, shape note, and folk traditions. Directed by Mr. Folan, the musical event will feature Mitzie Collins on hammered dulcimer and Petar Kodzas on guitar.

Mr. Folan currently teaches MUS101: Music Appreciation at the Dansville Campus Center. In the spring semester he will also teach MUS110: Music History. For the full schedule of classes offered at Dansville, visit www.genesee.edu/dansville .
