“In an economy where jobs are sparse, the field of health care is booming,” John McGowan, Career Services Coordinator at GCC said. “According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, ten of the 20 fastest growing occupations are healthcare related, and wage and salary employment in the healthcare industry is projected to increase 22 percent. It’s an excellent time to be enrolled in a healthcare educational program and jobs are available.”

The event is open to the public, and will be held at the Batavia Campus of Genesee Community College in the Forum from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2011. Parking and attendance are free. For directions and additional details, please contact John McGowan at 585-343-0055 ext. 6383.
