The Genesee Community College Men's Soccer team continued their unbeaten start to the season with a 3-0 victory at Finger Lakes Community College on Tuesday afternoon.

The Cougars were on the board after 6 minutes when Sean Brettell finished the pass from Brady Smith to give GCC a 1-0 lead. That was the end of the scoring in the first half as GCC came close numerous times but could not score.

The second half continued in the same fashion as the Cougars had plenty of chances but just could not get the ball over the line. The Cougars suffered a late scare as Jack West brought down a Laker forward in the box and the referee pointed to the spot for a penalty kick. West also received a yellow card and was replaced in the net by Joe Agerskow. In his first action of the game Agerskow pulled off a kick save to stop the shot and allow the Cougars to keep their sixth clean sheet of the season. Agerskow's save spurred his teammates on and Peter Keegan added two goals to close the game out.

The Cougars are next in action Thursday, September 29 at home to Mercyhurst NE at 6pm..
