The GCC men's soccer team extended their unbeaten start to the season to 6 games at Niagara County Community College on Thursday night.

The game was played in windy conditions but after a slow start, Brady Smith (Brisbane, Australia) gave the cougars the lead as he struck the roof of the net with his first goal of the season.

The action picked up early in the second half for the Cougars as Dom Francis (Huddersfield, England), Josh Gray (Norwich, England) and Theo Stamatopolous (Norwich, England) all scored to give GCC a comfortable lead. Declan Brennan (Dublin, Ireland) also added his first goal of the season before Niagara CCC struck for their lone goal of the game. The cougars went straight back on the attack and birthday-boy Ryosuke Sato (Hiroshima, Japan) celebrated with his first goal and the Cougars sixth as GCC ran out 6-1 winners at the end.

The Cougars return to action at 1pm in a home game on Saturday, September 18 against Mohawk Valley CC.
