The GCC men's soccer team continued their unbeaten start to the season with a nice 6-0 win at Onondaga Community College on Saturday.

The Cougars came out attacking from the start but it was not until Peter Keegan's (Dublin, Ireland) goal midway through the first half that the Cougars took the lead. The Cougars made it 2-0 soon after as Dom Francis (Huddersfield, England) hit a 25 yard screamer into the roof of the net from Sam Cassidy's (Cork, Ireland) pass.

In the second half it was more of the same from GCC as they launched attack after attack on the Onondaga goal. Dom Francis added his second goal of the game after some nice work down the right sideline by Barry Kinsella (Dublin, Ireland) and Ryan Dunne (Dublin, Ireland) to set Theo Stamatopolous (Norwich, England) through with a lovely cross for Francis' volley into the back of the net. Jonny Bonner (Buncrana, Ireland), Stamatopolous and Sean Brettel (Welwyn Garden City, England) rounded out the scoring for GCC.

Joe Agerskow (East Yorkshire, England) made a last ditch reflex save with only a matter of seconds left on the clock to keep the clean sheet for the Cougar defense, their third shutout in four games.

Genesee CC men's Soccer program returns to action at Jefferon CC on Tuesday, September 13th at 4pm.
