ALBION, NY - The Albion Campus Center of Genesee Community College is pleased to announce its Spring 2011 Instructor and Student of the Semester. Instructor Jack Wujcik of LeRoy and student Mark McGaffick of Albion graciously accepted the awards recognizing their efforts in the academic environment. Each semester at the Albion Campus Center, one student and one instructor are awarded the honor for their academic achievements or teaching performance. This is the 16th year the Albion Campus Center has given the awards.

Jack Wujcik has been an educator on a few different levels throughout his career. Prior to coming to Albion to teach business classes, Jack taught business as an adjunct instructor for twelve years at SUNY Brockport. He also taught social studies and business at LeRoy Central School for eight years. The students who nominated Jack commented that he “puts the fun back into education” and “his assignments are stellar and his lectures come from his wealth of past knowledge.”

Mark McGaffick is a full time student at GCC looking to earn a degree in Human Services. Although he’s only in his first semester at GCC, Mark has already “distinguished himself as a hard working, compassionate student who takes his academic responsibilities very seriously.”
