Men's Lacrosse Loses Season Opener

Men's lacrosse team lost the season opener 7-24 to the defending National Champions Onondaga C.C. The game was controlled by Onondaga's face-offs and high powered offense. Genesee was led by freshman goalie Zach Wilson (Lewis Center, OH) who faced 64 shots making 19 saves in his first collegiate game.

Men's lacrosse team lost the season opener 7-24 to the defending National Champions Onondaga C.C. The game was controlled by Onondaga's face-offs and high powered offense. Genesee was led by freshman goalie Zach Wilson (Lewis Center, OH) who faced 64 shots making 19 saves in his first collegiate game. On offense the cougars were led by the freshman trio attackman Gaehnew Printup (Tuscarora, NY), Connor Latimer (Whitby, ON), and Will Mulcahy (Batavia, NY) who scored three, two, and one goal respectfully.   Freshman midfielder Christian Reiller (Salamanca, NY) chipped in with a goal and an assist.

The Cougars will face Mercyhurst NE next in their season home opener on Saturday March 12th at 3pm.
