GCC's relentless defense was too much for Lakeland CC to handle as the Lady Cougars caused 19 turnovers and cruised to a 71-54 win. GCC led after the half 32 - 27 and poured it on in the second half.
Deyara Burrell led the cougars with 14 points, and went 3 for 5 from 3 the point liine. Mary Cain's double double helped the cougars take over the game. Cain finished the game with 10 points and 10 boards. Marcedes Caver, added 9 points. While Krystie Laurey,and Shakatta Brown added 8 points each. The cougars went 12 from 14 at the line and never lost the lead in the second half.
