The GCC men's soccer team played their first ever competitive home game under the lights Tuesday and proceeded to light up the scoreboard. They were up 1-0 after two minutes, when Peter Keegan finished from a Brady Smith pass. Within 5 minutes, they were 2 up as Peter Backhouse tucked his shot in the corner with man of the match Joel Brien getting the first of his 3 assists. The cougars rounded out the first half with Peter Keegan's second goal from Joel Brien's second assist.

GCC did not wait long after the second half kick-off to increase their lead with Brady Smith finishing off a Josh Gray pass. It was only minutes later before Brady added his second of the night on a lovely pass from Keegan. Keegan again turned provider, this time for Josh Gray who placed his left footed drive low and hard into the corner. Brandon Reiner rounded out the scoring on Brien's third assist of the night to leave the cougars 7-0 winners.

The team will be back in action at home on Thursday night at 7:30pm against Niagara County Community College.
