Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is an emergency medical procedure for a victim of cardiac arrest or, in some circumstances, respiratory arrest. CPR is performed in hospitals, or by emergency response professionals, or in the community by laypersons who have been specially trained through courses such as this one offered at the Medina Campus Center. This course teaches more advanced life saving techniques for people with life-saving careers (life guards, nurses, EMTs, etc.)
