Williams Named Co-WNYAC Female Athlete of the Year

Foward Chelsea Williams (Brockport, NY) was named co-female athlete of the year for the Western New York Athletic Conference for her outstanding play on the soccer field where she led the Cougars to a Final Four appearance for the first time in school history.

Forward Chelsea Williams (Brockport, NY) was named co-female athlete of the year for the Western New York Athletic Conference for her outstanding play on the soccer field where she led the Cougars to a Final Four appearance for the first time in school history.  Williams was named Genesee Community College's Female Athlete of the Year for 2009-2010 along with many other honors including NJCAA All-American 2nd Team. 

Williams scored 19 goals and had 12 assists for 50 points over 23 games games for the Lady Cougars ranking her 6th overall in scoring in the nation. She was also named to the All-Region III 1st Team, WNYAC 1st Team, and earned National Athlete of the Week honors.
