Men's Basketball Defeats Alfred State

Genesee's Men's Basketball team (11-7, 5-1 WNYAC) got off to a very slow start last night in their matchup with Alfred State. The cougars were down in the early minutes of the game but came back slowly to enter halftime with a score of 40-29.

Genesee’s Men’s Basketball team (11-7, 5-1 WNYAC) got off to a very slow start last night in their matchup with Alfred State. The cougars were down in the early minutes of the game but came back slowly to enter halftime with a score of 40-29. The team then inflated their lead to 72-37 early in the second half. The game ended with a final score of 89-61.
Genesee was led by freshman Kenton Chan-Man who scored a season high of 24 points. Other contributors in the win were Leon Nelson, 13 points and 14 rebounds, Quintin Redfern, 19 points and Terrell Rankin, 14 points.
The team will be back in action on February 2nd at Monroe Community College at 8:00pm.
