Lady Cougars roll to a 92-36 victory over Hougton

The Lady Cougars defeated Houghton JV in dominating fashion last night, 92-36. GCC had five players scoring in double digits led by Ka'Mela Bender (Warren, OH) who had 22 points and 4 steals. Krystie Laurey (Horseheads, NY) added 16 points with 4 steals and 6 rebounds, Marcedes Caver (Bedford Heights, OH) had 16 points, 7 steals, and 5 assists, Jamia Martin (Syracuse, NY) had 15 points with 5 rebounds, and Shakatta Brown (Rochester, NY) added 13 points with 8 assists and 4 steals.

With the victory Genesee improves  to 5-3 and will play their first home game of the season in the opening round of the Cougar Holiday Classic vs. Community College of Rhode Island at 2pm Saturday in the new gymnasium as GCC.
