The Albion Campus Center of Genesee Community College will host a Fall Student Art Show with an opening reception on November 18, from 5:00 to 6:30 PM. The fall Student Art Show at the Albion Campus will feature the works of students currently enrolled in art instructor Karen Todd’s Two-Dimensional Design class and the Drawing I and II classes.
The three classes provide a wide variety of pieces for the exhibit. The media ranges from pencil and ink drawings to pastel, painted designs and vintage posters to mixed media. There are over 40 artworks displayed by 16 students.
“I am excited about the quality and creativity of work from this group of students,” Karen Todd said. “It seems like each class raises the bar for the next!”
The exhibit, which is open to the public, will run through December 9. The Albion Campus Center is now a Genesee Regional Arts Council (GO-ART!) Satellite Gallery and the art work is available for public viewing from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Mondays through Thursdays, and on Fridays from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The Albion Campus is located at 456 West Avenue (Route 31) in the Village of Albion.
