Super Cruise Scheduled at Genesee Community College

An afternoon of free family fun is set for Sunday, July 19, 2009 as Genesee Community College hosts its third Cruise at the College welcoming “cruising” cars, motorcycles, and trucks from across the region. This year’s Super Cruise brings back some of the favorites, such as Skull Crusher Trikes and Batavia R.C. (Remote Control) Flying Club. All events begin at 1:00 pm and continue to 5:00 pm.

Music and entertainment will be provided by Hank Nevins. Dash plaques will be given away to the first 200 Cruisers courtesy of Visual Impact, and fabulous door prizes are promised.

The food fare will feature chicken BBQ from CASA; hotdogs/hamburgers from the Batavia Lions Club; pizza from Pauly's Pizzeria; ice cream by G's; and popcorn by the Batavia Area Jaycee's.

“The expansive parking lots at Genesee Community College and our location just off the New York State Thruway have proved to be the perfect location for cruisers to enjoy,” Rick Ensman, Genesee Community College’s Director of External Affairs said. “Whether you ride on four wheels, two wheels, or even three wheels—the Super Cruise at Genesee is the place to be on July 19th.”

There is no admission or entry fee for Genesee’s Super Cruise. For general information about the overall event, please call 585-345-6809. For specific Cruiser details, call 585-301-1711.
