The Lady Cougars Softball team traveled to Hudson Valley Community College today for a very successful day taking home two wins. In game one, the team was dominant at the plate ending the game with a score of 15-7. The team was led by the strong arm of Laura Olcott taking the win on the mound, anb at the plate by Brandi Froman and Jerrica McAndrew. Froman was 4 for 6 with a single, a double and a homerun. She also had four RBI's in this game. McAndrew went 3 for 5 with two RBI's. In the second game the team was led by pitcher Colleen McKay, who threw the complete game giving up only 6 hits. At the plate the team was led by Freshman Kelly Glover, who had a two run homerun in the 3rd inning to put the cougars ahead as the team won with a score of 4-3.
The team is next to face Finger Lake Community College on Tuesday at 3:00 pm.
