Brittany Muscarella is a full-time student at Genesee majoring in Environmental Studies. A resident of Middleport, NY, she graduated from Royalton-Hartland Central School in 2006, where her brother age 8 and her sister age 16 now attend. Brittany has several interests including drawing, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, and listening to classic rock such as The Doors.
Brittany’s excellence in the classroom was identified by several teachers. In addition to being an “A” student, one teacher emphasized that, “Brittany… has a great attitude. She is motivated and exceeds the assignment requirement. Brittany is an ideal student.”
Christine Stiegler teaches Algebra for Genesee Community College at the Medina and Albion campus centers. She has a distinguished career in education as an adjunct faculty Math teacher at SUNY Brockport and Genesee, and as a Math teacher and substitute teacher for the Monroe County BOCES and the Brockport, Hilton, Lyndonville, and Kendall school districts. Christine, a resident of Kendall, NY earned her BS in Math and Computer Science from Ohio University and her MS in Education and Math from SUNY Brockport.
Christine’s students gave her glowing reviews for her teaching this semester. As one student put it, “Before taking her class, not only did I hate algebra but math in general. Since the course began I have not only become independent of my calculator for simple math, but can also apply my education to my life.”
