Doodles to Drawing Workshop at Medina Campus Center of Genesee Community College

Pick up a pencil and see where it takes you! Genesee Community College is offering a Doodles to Drawing Workshop at the Medina Campus Center. The three-week workshop will be held Mondays and Wednesdays from May 5 through May 21, from 9:00 to 11:00 am.

Led by professional artist Diana Martin, participants will discover new ways of looking at the world as they make it come to life on drawing paper. The intent is to get people to see that they can draw, how good their work looks, and help them to realize their hidden talents.

Diane Martin’s experience ranges from working as a high school art teacher to running her own business, The Drawing Room Studio in Medina, NY. She teaches art classes at the Forrestal Farm Camp and has had work published in Sports Illustrated. As a member of Go Art! and a substitute teacher for Genesee Community College, Diane continues to contribute her artistic talents to the community.

This non-credit course is open to students age 17 and older. A $15 registration fee includes course materials. To register, call 585-798-1688 or stop by the Medina Campus Center, 11470 Maple Ridge Road in Medina.
