Comedian Steve Caouette to Make Impressions at Genesee Community College

A little wacky, a tad zany, and whole lot hilarious, comedian Steve Caouette will bring his unique show to Genesee Community College on Wednesday, April 30, 2008. Doors to the Stuart Steiner Theatre open at 6:30 pm and the show starts at 7:00 pm.

Combining impressions, improv, sound effects, and stand-up comedy, Steve pushes the comedic envelope. Not only does he do impressions, he bombards the crowd with sound effects, continually involving the audience. His sound effects range from a babbling brook to a fireworks display, a lighting storm to the sea depths in a submarine. Steve personalizes every show to keep his performance unique, fresh, and memorable.

A veteran performer, Steve has worked on The Late Show with David Letterman and with Saturday Night Live veterans Victoria Jackson and Colin Quinn. He’s taken his talents on tour to perform at clubs and colleges nationwide, as well as appearing in numerous commercials and in the recent independent feature film Tough Hombre.

Co-sponsored by Genesee’s Student Activities and College Village, tickets for the show are $5 or free to students with a valid college ID. Tickets are available in the Student Activities Office and can be purchased in person or by calling 585-343-0055 x6261.
