Computer Technology Open House at Genesee

Explore today’s fastest growing, well-paid, and overall best career option – Computer Technology! Genesee Community College is hosting an Open House on Thursday, April 26 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM in the Conable Technology Building to help people of all ages investigate opportunities in this exciting career field.

Soon-to-be high school graduates, working adults seeking career advancement, or anyone looking to start a new career will find Genesee Community College ready to prepare them for success in computer technology. Explore programs such as:

The Computer Technology Open House gives visitors a chance to meet with faculty and current students. Learn about Genesee’s many strategic partnerships such as the MicroSoft Academic Alliance, the Cicso Networking Academy and the wide array of transfer degree agreements with four-year colleges and universities.

Touring Genesee’s state-of-the-art technology facilities and computer repair lab, as well as discussing career strategies and trends is also part of the Open House. Representatives from admissions and financial aid will be on hand to answer questions, and give anyone interested the complete college campus tour including the new Student Union and College Village, apartment-style student housing complex a short stroll from the Batavia campus, which will have four new housing units this fall.
