The Big Bad Wolf Comes to Genesee Community College

The Genesee Community College Forum Players, the college’s student-based acting group, will be presenting a new classic family tale, ONCE UPON A WOLF. Premiering Thursday, March 15, 2007 at 7:30 PM at the Stuart Steiner Theatre, subsequent performances are scheduled for Friday, March 16 at 7:30 PM; Saturday, March 17 at 2:00 PM and 7:30 PM; and Sunday, March 18 at 2:00 PM.

ONCE UPON A WOLF, by Steph DeFerie, is the delightful story of fairy tale’s infamous Big Bad Wolf, who gets tired of his “bad” image and decides to become “good.” But our wolf, needing a new fairy tale to star in, encounters some problems along the way, when he decides to get help from some old and familiar “friends”, including Little Red Riding Hood, the Three Little Pigs, Cinderella, the Three Bears, Snow White and others.

ONCE UPON A WOLF is being directed by Vincent Elliott, the newly appointed Technical Director at the Genesee Center for the Arts. Scenic and Properties Design by Gena Korn, Lighting Design by Jason Reed, and Costume Design by Makiko Iwami.

General admission ticket prices are $6.00 for adults, $3.00 for students, senior citizens and GCC faculty, and $2.00 for GCC students with a valid ID.
