Genesee Community College Foundation's Annual Campaign Begins
Timothy D. Woodward of Batavia, President, Gilmartin Funeral Home, Batavia and general chair of the 2006-2007 Annual Campaign for Genesee Community College Foundation, proclaimed the beginning of this year’s campaign at a recent leadership meeting held at the College. The new campaign theme, Genesee at 40, celebrates the past as the College was established by a voter referendum in 1965, was officially founded in 1966, and the first classes were taught in 1967.  The theme also generates momentum to look ahead to an optimal future.
