Cougars Sweep Jamestown
Genesee Community College men's and women's soccer teams traveled to Jamestown on Tuesday September 5th and both teams came away with victories.  The Lady Cougars defeated Jamestown by the score of 7-2 and the men's team defeated Jamestown 9-0.

The Lady Cougar's were led by sophomore forward Danielle Koers and freshman midfielder Brenda Malaney who each scored 2 goals in the effort.  Freshman goalkeeper Rita Nilsson made 16 saves in the win.  This win improves the women's record to 2-0 on the season.  The women will play next against Broome CC (3-0) on September 9th at Genesee with a 12:00 pm start.

The men traveled to Jamestown for their first game of the season and came away with an impressive victory of 9-0.  The men were led by freshman forward Tristan Watson, who scored 3 goals and 2 assists, and freshman midfielder Victor Gonzalez who scored 3 goals on the day.  The men are now 1-0 and will face SUNY-Canton (0-2) on Saturday September 9th at home with a 2:00 pm start.
