Lacrosse Team Drops Two

The Genesee Community College men's lacrosse team is still looking for its first win as it dropped two games this week. The Cougars lost 17-1 to Alfred State on Tuesday. Alfred State was ranked 9th in the nation. Levi Winnie scored the lone goal for GCC. Jeff D'Amico stopped 30 shots on goal.

On Saturday, the Cougars lost to Mercyhurst NE, 17-1. Rich Gdanice netted the only goal for Genesee. D'Amico knocked away 35 scoring attempts.

The team is now 0-4 overall. The final home games of their inaugural season will be on Tuesday versus Broome Community College and Wednesday against Canton. Both games are set to begin at 4:00 pm.
