Cougars Fall to Alfred State

Three point shooting was the difference as the Genesee Community College men's basketball team lost its rematch to Alfred State College on Thursday, 64-59. The Pioneers connected on six treys while the Cougars only managed to hit two from outside the arc.

Antonio Mullins led a trio of double figure scorers for GCC with 15 points. Don Juan Tyson was held to 14 points which is 10 below his season average. Jamar Gray had 12 points, six rebounds and four steals for the Cougars.

GCC is now 17-8 overall and 8-4 in the WNYAC. The team is currently receiving Honorable Mention in the NJCAA Division II poll.
