Cougars Win Double Overtime Thriller

The Cougars won their first two regional games including an exciting double overtime win at Alfred State. Don Juan Tyson scored 28 points for GCC. Fields posted a double- double with 20 points and 14 boards.

Jamar Gray set a new school record with 22 assists versus JCC-Olean. He broke the old mark of 21 that was held by Brian Jackson. Mullins scored a season high 38 points and pulled down 10 caroms for the Cougars. It is the second time this season he scored more than 30 points. Tyson added 26 points.

Genesee is now 8-2 overall. The face Region III rival Erie Community College on Tuesday and then the Cougars are off until January 10th when they host Mohawk College.
