The Genesee Community College men's and women's continued their winning ways this week as each team ran its record to 4-0. The men's team won two games this week, defeating Mohawk College of Canada 94-75 on Tuesday night and Fulton-Montgomery Community College 96-55 on Saturday. Antonio Mullins led the way against Mohawk with 35 points, nine boards and five assists. Soloman Donaldson recorded a double-double with 13 points and 11 caroms. Kevin Josey added 18 points and Jamar Gray dished out 15 assissts. On Saturday, Don Juan Tyson scored 25 points and Gari Fields added 18 points and 14 rebounds.
The Lady Cougars dominated the Lady Raiders of Fulton-Montgomery on Saturday by using a stifling defense. GCC held FMCC to just fifteen first half points en route to a 64-37 victory. Tracy Wangelin led the Lady Cougars with 14 points and Priscilla Ramirez added 13 points as eleven different players scored for GCC.
