Santiago Named Player of the Year

Phil Santiago was selected as the Region III and Western New York Athletic Conference Player of the Year for the men's basketball team. This honor was bestowed upon him by the coaches of the league. Santiago was second in the conference in scoring as he averaged 19 points per game.

Antionetta Young and Danielle McCray were named to the first team All-Region for the Lady Cougars. Freshman Stephanie Darden was a second team pick for the All-Region awards. Young finished the season third in the conference in scoring at 21.0 points per game. McCray led the league in rebounding with 12.0 boards per game and in field goal shooting as she connected on 55% of her shots for the year. Darden was second in assists per game with 6.0 and third in three-point shooting.
