Cougars Get Revenge Against Pioneers

Genesee avenged an earlier two point loss to Alfred State last Tuesday. Three point shooting was the difference in the game as GCC connected on 10 of 18 shots from behind the arc while ASC managed to only hit three out of nine. Bart Tooms had 22 points and nine rebounds to lead the Cougars. Phil Santiago (four assists) and Juvar Houston (five assists) chipped in with 11 points a piece. Jim Irwin added 10 points and four assists and A.J. White pulled down nine boards and blocked three shots.

Genesee will have its final home game on Tuesday against Jamestown-Olean and then concludes its regular season with a trip to Cleveland, Ohio to face Lakeland CC. The team is currently 10-18 overall and 4-9 in WNYAC play.
