Adrienne Wells, a member of the Genesee Community College Women's Soccer team, was selected as a first team NJCAA All-American for Division III. Wells, a freshman midfielder from Bergen, led the Lady Cougars in scoring this season with 57 points on 25 goals and seven assists. With that effort, she is ranked ninth in the nation in scoring.
Tracy Obonna, a member of the Lady Cougars Volleyball team, was named as a second team NJCAA All-American for Division II. Obonna, a sophomore from Brampton, Ontario, was also a second team selection last season. She is ranked 3rd in the nation in hitting efficiency at 47.87% and 13th in kills per game with a 3.907 average.
Vincent Koomson, a member of the Genesee Community College Men's Soccer team, was chosen as a first team member of the NSCAA/adidas Junior College All-American team for Division III. The team is selected by the members of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. Koomson, a sophomore defender from Ghana, Africa, will be honored at an awards banquet to be held in Baltimore, Maryland in January.
