Cougars Fall at Columbus State Tournament

The Genesee Community College Men's Basketball team headed to Ohio for Thanksgiving and came back with little reason to give thanks. Not only did they lose two out of three games there, they also lost leading scorer Don Juan Tyson to an ankle injury in the second round of the tournament. The Cougars were beaten by Oakland Community College 77-68 in the first round. In the second game, Genesee beat Southern State 91-79 as Bart Tooms had a career high 28 points. In their final game, the Cougars lost to Erie Community College 95-78.
