Baseball team Loses Twinbill to Erie

The Cougar baseball lost both games of a doubleheader at Erie Community College on Saturday. In the first game, Genesee ran into a dominant pitcher as they lost 11-0. Quinn Fuller (3 for 3) and Josh Parkinson (2 for 2) accounted for all five hits for GCC.

The team was unable to support a nice pitching effort from Andy Ferris in the second game as GCC lost 6-1. Ferris, a freshman from Batavia Notre Dame, pitched 5 1/3 innings and gave up six runs but three errors cost the team five runs. Offensively, Gabe Santiago went 1 for 2 with the lone run scored. The Cougars are now 2-4 overall.
