Genesee Community College Recognizes National Day of Mourning

In recognition of the National Day of Mourning honoring Ronald Reagan, the 40th president of the United States, Genesee Community College will be closed on Friday, June 11, 2004. All federal and state offices will be closed, which includes all State University of New York state-operated colleges and universities as directed by SUNY Chancellor Robert L. King.

"We join our country in acknowledging the National Day of Mourning and we wish to pay our respects for one of our nation's most esteemed leaders by closing our six campus locations this Friday," Dr. Stuart Steiner, President of Genesee Community College stated.

The Batavia Campus and the Arcade, Dansville, Lakeville, Orleans and Warsaw Campus Centers will be closed. All classes and programs will resume their normal schedules on Saturday, June 12, 2004.
