Prominent Arcade Business Leader Discusses Scholarship Opportunities with Genesee's Arcade Campus Center Students

Ms. Kathy Balus, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Pioneer Credit Recovery in Arcade recently visited the Genesee Community College Campus Center in Arcade to discuss the personal and economic value of pursuing a higher education. She also talked about the availability of scholarships through the Genesee Community College Foundation, which can provide important financial assistance to eligible students.

Ms. Balus generously established a scholarship in memory of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William and Marie Mersmann. The scholarship supports deserving students residing in Wyoming County who demonstrate key qualities such as good citizenship, personal accomplishments, or academic achievement, and who make evident a firm desire for career success.
