"It is so much more meaningful for my students to see and hear true tales from the front lines of business and sales," M. Richard Dudkowski, Genesee Community College Professor of the Professional Sales class said. "Anecdotal lessons that are grounded in real-time experiences have a lasting impact." In the past, guest lecturers have included Jeff Miller, Regional Director of ViaTech Publishing Solutions in Batavia, and David Howe, owner of Charles Men's Shop in Batavia.
Mr. LaMastra's connection to the College is also very personal as his daughter, Maria, is a transfer student now enrolled in Genesee's Fashion Merchandising Management program. He has agreed to be a Corporate Sponsor of Genesee's upcoming Fashion Show, which is produced by Fashion Merchandising Management students. As the largest fashion show of its kind in the region, students and supporters are all very excited about the event, which is scheduled for Saturday, April 24, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. in the Batavia Campus' William W. Stuart Forum. Both Mr. and Ms. LaMastra are residents of Lancaster, New York.
