Genesee Community College is having a FREE seminar offering information about various financial aid sources for college enrollment. The presentation will be held Wednesday, January 28, 2004 at 6:30 p.m. in room T102 of the Conable Technology Building on the Batavia Campus.
Students, parents and other participants are encouraged to learn about how to apply for financial aid, details about applications and deadlines that can save money, and how to appeal for more money. The seminar presenter, Mr. Joseph Bailey, Director of Financial Assistance and Veteran Services, will also give tips on how to decipher financial aid awards and how to apply for scholarships.
The seminar is a great way for students to learn about many different financial aid sources that often go unseen, and also appreciate each step of the application process. Applying for financial aid can be confusing and stressful, but this seminar helps participants understand the process and be able to complete their financial aid forms more quickly and accurately on the first try. Participants will also learn many helpful ways to save money.
Genesee's Financial Aid Sources Seminar is open to the public, but reservations are required and space is limited. All interested participants should call 585-345-6900.
