January 13, 2004 Instant Admit Date for Genesee Community College

Genesee Community College, Campus Centers in Albion, Arcade, Dansville, Lakeville, Warsaw, New York ? The five Campus Centers of Genesee Community College located in Albion (Orleans County), Arcade (Wyoming County), Dansville and Lakeville (Livingston County), and Warsaw (Wyoming County) are participating in an "Instant Admit Day" on Tuesday, January 13, 2004 from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. The day-long program provides expeditious admission and registration for classes offered by Genesee Community College during the Spring 2004 semester, which begins January 20, 2004.

Returning students and new enrollees are encouraged to stop into the Campus Center nearest them to efficiently sign up for classes or begin the enrollment process. New students must bring their high school diploma or proof of passing the GED equivalency test to apply for admission and to be accepted. In addition to applying for admission and registering for classes, students will also be able to discuss financial aid opportunities all on the same day.

"The Instant Admit Day is a great way to get all the details of taking classes or working toward earning a degree out of the way in one full swoop," Tanya Lane-Martin, Genesee's Director of Admissions said. "It's so easy to procrastinate through the holidays and this day truly helps motivate people."
