Genesee Community College Names 220 Students to Fall 2015 Provost’s List

Batavia, New York — Genesee Community College, including all seven campus locations in Batavia, Albion, Arcade, Dansville, Lima, Medina and Warsaw, proudly announces the following students are among 220 students who were named to the Provost’s List for the Fall 2015 semester.

Students honored on GCC’s Provost’s List have been enrolled on a part-time basis through the Fall 2015 Semester and earned a quality point index of 3.75 (roughly equivalent to an A) or better. The College also maintains a President’s List of students who are enrolled full-time and have also earned a quality point index of 3.75, which was released last week. In addition, GCC’s maintains a full-time and part-time enrolled Dean’s List comprised of students who earn a quality point index of 3.50 to 3.74. Genesee’s Dean’s Lists will be released in the next week.

Genesee Community College offers over 60 academic programs and certificates, including two new associate in applied science degrees. The Food Processing Technology degree will help meet the demands of the thriving food manufacturing industry in western New York, and Nanotechnology studies the fascinating microscopic world at the atomic level leading to jobs in a wide array of different industries from biopharmaceuticals to information storage.
