Batavia, NY- The College Village student residence life community located adjacent to Genesee Community College’s Batavia campus is offering a new course in the new “Root.” Students now have the opportunity to take a course in the comfort of College Village. Leadership in the Community (CES 110) will begin on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 and meet every Tuesday from 5:30 – 7:30 P.M. for eight weeks. The one-credit course convenes in the Root, located in the basement of the Hemlock Hall.

Warsaw, NY- If you want to apply for college financial aid, but don’t know where to begin, come to GCC Warsaw on Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. You’ll receive free expert help filling out the online FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) forms. In addition, five participants will receive a $500 scholarship. The College Goal NY event is being organized in conjunction with the Wyoming County YMCA.
